We have established ourselves as the leading residential carpentry contractor throughout Oxfordshire and the surrounding counties.

We pride ourselves on delivering high quality and cost-effective contract carpentry services to contractors, developers, and volume housebuilders.

In the early days of the company, we carried out works on many of the historic university buildings in Oxford. We still do carry out specialist contracts for our clients - but the primary focus of the company is now the provision of carpentry services for the country’s leading housebuilders.

As an NHBC registered housebuilder, we have a detailed knowledge of housebuilding, and we are able to help and support our clients throughout the build process.

All of our contracts are supervised and managed by our own directly employed teams.

Single-ply membranes

Lambe Contract Carpenters is a registered Sika Single Ply roofing membrane installer. We have installed many single-ply membrane roofs across the country.

Health & Safety

Health & Safety plays a fundamental part in all aspects of our business. We take responsibility for the training and ongoing Health & Safety education of all our directly employed and sub-contract labour.

We have in-house NEBOSH qualified managers and SSSTS trained supervisors. We are also a CSCS Gold Standard company.

Apprenticeships and Training

The company has trained approximately 75 apprentices, and we are extremely proud that some of the apprentices are still with the company – some 25 years after completing their training.

Nearly all management positions and some director positions are held by the company’s former apprentices.

Supervision and Management

All of our sites have dedicated, qualified and experienced supervisors, who are responsible for the day-to-day running of the site and health & safety implementation.

This is reinforced with regular site visits from the team of contracts managers and directors – who visit site to also monitor progress, quality, and health & safety.
